How to install Apple CarPlay in your Hyundai Vehicle
To download and install the Apple CarPlay update on your vehicle you will need your vehicle’s VIN number, a USB stick or memory card from your vehicle’s navigation system, a compatible iPhone, a data plan, and a lightning cable. Start by logging in to your myhyundai.com account to access the free download. Once there, Hyundai will walk you through the download process. You can also watch the YouTube videos below for further instructions. Expect the download to take between 15 minutes to an hour depending on vehicle model and internet speed.

If your Hyundai vehicle did not come with Apple CarPlay installed at the factory, you could be eligible for an update. If you have an Apple iPhone with iOS 9.0 or higher and have one of the below Hyundai models equipped with Display Audio or Navigation, you should be able to download Apple CarPlay using the instructions above.
