The 2019 Ford Transit Connect Wagon is focused on Baby Boomers who have gravitated toward the model more than any other demographic. The new model debuted at the 2018 Chicago Auto Show last week showing off a new engine lineup, expanded features, and other updates that are discussed in more detail below.

From being easy to get in and out of, plus flexible seating and cargo space, Transit Connect Wagon makes it convenient for Boomers to keep enjoying family time or explore new hobbies and careers,” said Mark LaNeve, Ford vice president, U.S. Marketing, Sales and Service.

Seating Capacity
The 2019 Transit Connect Wagon comes in two wheelbase options that will decide whether the vehicle offers seating for five or seven. Each wheelbase option will come with a choice of three trim levels: XL, XLT, and Titanium.
Driver Assist
Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection and Automatic Emergency Braking will come standard on all trims of the 2019 model. Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Monitor, and Lane Keeping Assist will also be available.
Sliding Doors
New for 2019, the Ford Transit Connect Wagon will offer sliding doors on both sides of the vehicle making street side delivery for businesses and access to the all-new interior easier than ever before.
Amazon Alexa
An available SYNC 3 infotainment system offers the ability to connect with the system’s Amazon Alexa assistant functionality. It can also connect with any of your home-based Amazon Alexa devices.
