2020 GMC Sierra Towing Specs and Features

Towing Figures

While specific towing specs have yet to be released for the 2020 GMC Sierra lineup, GMC has said that customers can expect to see some pretty drastic changes in the lineup’s towing figures compared to previous years. They have hinted that max towing figures could be well above 30,000 pounds.

ProGrade Trailer System

As we mentioned in the title of this post, the ProGrade Trailering system available on the 2020 GMC Sierra lineup includes 15 different camera angles* to help drivers more easily navigate hooking up and driving with their trailers or other large pieces of equipment. One of the camera angles, called transparent trailer view, is brand-new for 2020 and uses a series of rear-mounted cameras to offer an uninterrupted view of the road behind the vehicle. This is especially helpful for drivers as they steer their trailers into parking spaces or as they navigate changing lanes on crowded streets.
