2020 RAM 1500 Multifunctional Tailgate Features

Opening the multifunctional tailgate

Traditionally, to get to the bed of the truck, a person would have to open the tailgate, and that was that. With the new multifunctional tailgate, you now have options. You are still able to open the tailgate all the way just like before. In addition, you can now open the tailgate like you would a door with 60/40 access to the bed. You can also use the 60/40 split and open only part of the tailgate. That way, if things were moving around during the drive, there is less of a chance for everything to fall onto the ground.

RAMBOX® Cargo Management System

Do you ever find yourself needing space for one or two more large items once the bed of your truck is full? You will not anymore! The 2020 RAM 1500 now has a RAMBOX® Cargo Management System on either side of the bed. This extra storage space is able to be locked, is weatherproof, and is drainable.
