Because there are no substantial changes to the 2018 Kia Optima model, the starting price will not see too much of a shift. The starting MSRP for each trim level has been listed below. Please note that the MSRP excludes destination and handling, taxes, license fees, options, and retailer charges. Dealerships set their own prices, and they may vary from the ones listed below.

• LX (2.4L) – Starting MSRP of $22,500
• S (2.4L) – Starting MSRP of $23,500
• LX (1.6T) – Starting MSRP of $24,300

Engine Options

Just like with price, there will be no large changes in the engine options offered for the 2018 Kia Optima. A trio of options will be available and include a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, a 1.6-liter turbo engine paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, and a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine combined with a six-speed automatic transmission.
