Though the Kia Stinger was brand-new to the Kia lineup for the 2018 model year, drivers will still find a handful of thoughtful updates in the new 2019 Kia Stinger model. One of the most value-packed additions is the inclusion of new blind spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert active safety systems on all trims. The active safety systems on higher trims have also been expanded to include the full range of Kia Drive Wise technologies.

Like in the outgoing 2018 Stinger lineup, the 2019 Kia Stinger lineup offers drivers five distinct trim level choices. The 2019 Stinger’s base trim, 2.0-L, comes in at an affordable starting MSRP of $32,900. It’s a $1,000 jump in price from 2018 models and is fair when considering the additional standard features included on new models. The 2019 Stinger’s highest trim, GT2, comes in at a starting MSRP of $49,990 and includes a healthy list of premium amenities including an upgraded engine, the Kia Drive Wise active safety package, leather seats, and a head up display.
With 255 horsepower, the standard engine in the 2019 Stinger lineup is no compromise. Drivers opting for the 2.0L or Premium trims will get a Stinger model equipped with the 2.0L four-cylinder Turbo GDI engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Other standard features on all 2019 Stinger trims include paddle shifters, heated and power-folding side mirrors, LED turn signal indicators, Smart Welcome, automatic headlights, 18-inch alloy wheels, Apple CarPlay, park distance warning, blind spot monitoring, lane change assist, and more.
